The Silver King

الملك الفضي

The silver pharaoh the world forgot.

At the Egyptian Museum, a grandfather tells his grandson what his own father saw as a worker on the 1940 Tanis dig: the unsealing of Psusennes I's tomb in front of King Farouk, and a coffin of solid silver. Weeks later the Second World War buried the story.
